About Trekking :

The Himalays are the trekker’s delight. The adventure component adds the spice of uncertainly, raising the stakes for you to test yourself in unfamiliar territory. The rugged beauty of the mountainscape of Himalaya is too difficult to resist for adventure seekers. The religious shrines in the Himalyas, glaciers, snowbelts, meadows & other high altitude terrain are the attractions. From time immemorial the hill folks are accustomed to it. Credit must go to Adi Guru Shankaracharya for exploring routes in Himalays. The best time for organizing these treks is in May, June & September.

Kuari Pass Trek
April-October, 9 days : Mild Trek
Also known as Curzons' trail, it is very popular among American & Europeans. In 1905, Lord Curzon made into Kauri Pass from Ghat via Ramni. Today many trekkers prefer to undertake the trek in the reverse direction. They climb the ridge above Tapovan, & reach Gailgarh, where the trail coming from Gorson meets. Gailgarh is 5 km from Kuari. One can also reach Kuaripass from Auli Bugyal through Gorson Top. However major portion of this trek is snow bound during winters.

Curzon's trail offers a magnificent view of the twin peaks of Nanda Devi, Kamet, Dronagiri and Hathi-Ghodi Parvat. Along the trek one passes through pristine Rhododendron, Oak, and Deodar forests.
